Playing Thunder, Dylan Bergeson (Documentary, 5:44) A piano thunders against the walls of an overpass in El Cerrito, California, accompanied by whooshing freeway traffic and hissing big rigs. The music is coming from the tarp shelter of Marcos Ganzalez, a self-taught pianist who has built several pianos into the walls of his makeshift home. When Marcos plays, he says he's releasing his inner storm.

Tina, Laura Sweeny (Narrative, 14:20) A heartfelt story about two people who knew each other back when and are surprised to meet up again via a dating app.

Parka, Marcella Cortland and Alrik Bursell (Narrative, 7:00) A woman’s fashion choice leads to unexpected consequences.

The Elevator Dance (for Elisa) Remix, Jessica Sison (Narrative, 5:55) A reinterpretation of the mysterious Elisa Lam elevator surveillance video, which became an internet sensation. On February 13, 2013, the Los Angeles Police Department released surveillance footage of a missing young woman that showed Elisa Lam in a hotel elevator behaving strangely. This was her last known sighting. Her body was found on February 19, and the circumstances surrounding her death are still unknown. This film is meant to be a celebration of her life, a dance where her spirit is set free.

Inexorable, José Wilfrido López Morales (Narrative, 15:00) A film student about to graduate, wonders why he chose that career, which leads to an existential crisis. Mexico, subtitles

Another Eight Seconds, Keith Malloy (Documentary, 16:05) The story behind the grit and determination of bull rider Stetson Lawrence as he climbed to the top of world rankings despite personal tragedies and life-changing injuries.

Fair Trade, Sahra Bhimji (Narrative, 10:35) After Chris, a door-to-door salesman, is evicted from the cardboard box he calls home, his evil landlady presents him with a deal to secure an amazing new luxury apartment. But there’s a catch.

Rollout, Danny Abel (Documentary, 16:26) Laureen, an immunization nurse in Kibera, Kenya, grapples with her own personal decision to get the Covid-19 vaccine as she carries out her Ministry of Health mandate to administer the vaccine to the often reluctant and suspicious Kibera residents.
